Fang, Games, Justice

Gah. My ambition to post more often goes up in flames again. That’s almost entirely because Battle of the Fang is grinding towards completion and taking up virtually all of my time at the moment. It’s been a hard slog, this one – a real killer. Once the first draft is done and with my long-suffering (and supremely patient) editors, I’ll be blogging about some of the challenges this project threw up, but for now I’ll concentrate on getting it done.

In the meantime, a quick reminder that I’ll be at Games Day 2010 in the Birmingham NEC along with the other BL authors. I’ll be signing copies of Sword of Justice, or very happy just to talk about the upcoming Sword of Vengeance, Battle of the Fang, and any other projects I might have lurking in the wings. Come and say hi if you’d like to chat about any of those, or just to shoot the Warhammer breeze.

Talking of Sword of Justice, the book continues to pick up some cool reviews. The latest is over at BSCReview, which was a pleasure to read. Fantasy books normally struggle to get the same kind of exposure as the bigger, brasher 40K line, but this one seems to have picked up a fair bit of attention. With any luck, the release of 8th Edition has helped kindle some extra interest in the Old World. I certainly hope so, because there are plenty of stories waiting to be told.

Yeah, very good to talk Narry. Hope all goes well between now and BL Live, and hope to cross paths again there.
