Interview on Graeme’s Fantasy Book Review

Recently Graeme Flory of Graeme’s Fantasy Book Review covered Sword of Justice on his blog. We got chatting after that, and the result is this interview, which he’s posted on the site this morning. Thanks to Graeme for the questions, and the great review.

Sword of Justice has also picked up another review on Mass Movement magazine, which was very nice to read too. It’s good to see it getting a fair bit of attention, since Fantasy always struggles for space alongside the all-conquering 40K/Heresy line.

Talking of 40K, I’m now firmly back on track with Battle of the Fang. I had a long chat with the ever-busy Nick Kyme the other day, and I was relieved to hear that he loved the first installment. Most BL readers will know Nick as the author of the hugely successful Salamander series, but he’s also the Senior Range Editor at Black Library and a very nice guy. Of course, the problem with getting good feedback about the first half of the Fang book is making sure the second half matches up – the final draft is still a few weeks away, and from previous experience it’ll be hard work to pull everything together. As ever, though, the editorial support from BL has been great (definitely not something to be taken for granted), so the prospects are looking good. Getting it all done by Games Day would be fantastic, but we’ll see…
